North West businesses continue growth with Japan
On 22 October the government announced that it had signed a new UK-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) - the UK’s first Free Trade Agreement (FTA) that goes beyond its existing EU deal.
The deal can benefit more than 700 businesses in the North West that exported to Japan last year and encourage new business.
EU Transition: Prepare for change
The UK has left the EU and the transition period is ending.
Whilst the UK negotiates additional arrangements with trading partners, businesses can take action to prepare for change. New rules will come into affect from January 2021.
